Al Fresco dining with a friendly, community atmosphere. Dale Candela opened their doors in their current location in Main Street just 3 years ago, but they've already established themselves as a casual and relaxed meet up hub that serves delicious food, with authentic Spanish flavours and a great selection of drinks. Owner and Chef Carlos takes pride in making everybody feel welcome, which is also evident in the delicious food that they serve. Their food has a home-cooked warmth that showcases the harmony of their ingredients fresh from Spain, like the anchovies, octopus and Manchego cheese. Chef recommendations include the burrata salad, croquette, grilled clams, grilled squid, beef cheeks, and their cheese and cold cuts. You can also ask their friendly manager, Milana, who will be more than happy to offer some recommendations. Vegan and vegetarian options are available and kid’s meals are at hand upon request; please let your server know in advance if you have any allergies or intolerances. Their extensive drinks menu includes 3 beers on tap: a Spanish pale lager, Estrella Galicia, a Spanish Dry cider, Maeloc Sidra and from Lamma’s very own Yardley Brothers Brewery, Machine Men pale ale. They also have a great selection of wines to pair perfectly with you the Spanish cuisine. One of their most popular drinks is their generously portioned gin and tonic; other customer favourites include the classic sangria and Aperol spritz. Ask the bartender for other cocktail selections. “For me, Dale Candela is like the theatre. We open the doors, turn on the lights and prepare the stage for the food and drinks. Leave it in our hands, you’ll have great time!” -Carlos Andres Visit Dale Candela at G/F 23 Main St. Yung Shue Wan, Lamma Island, open everyday from 12 noon to 12 midnight.
