A play-based, multi-sensory, early years programme that fosters whole child growth and encourages children to communicate, collaborate, create and think critically. Teacher Cathe Kit has always had a passion for teaching. Sharing knowledge is in her blood as her grandparents and both her parents were respected educators back in the Philippines. She recalls her childhood spent teaching the neighbourhood kids during her breaks from school and her father being the driving reason for Cathe to pursue her dream. Her degree in Design has been a huge asset, helping her shape her classes, workshops and lessons. Focusing more on self-development and nurturing the innate curiosity of the child. 

 She is also the founder of Teatro Filipino, a HK-based theatre troupe for Filipino youths. She also pioneered the ongoing “Tiny Tots” programme for Faust, an international theatre-based learning centre. She has extensive teaching experience, starting in 2004 when she taught Kindergarten in China. She has been teaching in Hong Kong since 2008. 

 The Young Caterpillars Creative Learning Playhouse was opened late 2020. As Teacher Cathe saw the demand for quality and creative English-based learning, especially for babies to preschool aged children. The programme has three core classes, Interactive Storytelling (2.5-4 years), School Readiness class Level 1 (2-3 years old) & Level 2 (3-4 years old), and Rhythm & Beats (age 2.5-4 years).
